2 & 3rd October
10 am to 4pm
On the edge of the Mundaring forest- Bush Prelude, a large, sophisticated garden-has been created with an emphasis on texture, form and design. The palette is predominantly green with soft, red clay pathways meandering around circular landscaped terraces, underneath a canopy of towering Eucalypts. Stunning water temple bowls and bird baths are strategically placed for the many winged visitors. These are artistically positioned to create interest throughout the garden.
Harmoniously planted within this natural landscape, are deciduous trees, beautiful exotics and native flora, adding bursts of colour.
A Mediterranean inspired courtyard, artist studio, flourishing herb garden and old fashioned and newly- refurbished ‘picking garden’ provide inspiring ideas.
