Members are invited (by email) to enjoy this rare opportunity to have a guided tour of one of the great landscaped public gardens of Western Australia, Perth Zoological gardens. Learn about some of the work of designing, planting and maintaining these beautiful grounds, and note what has been put in place for the benefit of resident animals as well as visitors.
Members can enjoy this privileged experience as part of our very exclusive sunset private tour with Senior Horticulturist Kath Mauger, with an unusual focus on plants rather than on the animals. We will see some of the oldest palms and established trees in Perth, and glimpse a few resident animals getting ready for their night’s sleep.
To toast this great evening we would then like you to join us across the road at the Windsor Hotel, in a private functions room, for a sundowner of canapes and a drink where you will also meet our EO, Matthew Lunn and hear about OGWA’s year ahead.
